Introducing Our New
NGCOA Canada
Board of Directors!
On November 21, 2024, during its Annual
General Meeting in Calgary, AB; the
membership of the NGCOA Canada voted in its
new Board of Directors, with Richard Edmonds,
Owner of Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club
(ON), as the new President. With a long-
standing commitment to the industry, Richard
brings visionary leadership that is expected to
further build on the successes of his
predecessors and strengthen NGCOA Canada’s
impact over the next two years.
Richard is joined on the executive by:

• Secretary Treasurer | Doug Breen, GolfNorth Properties, ON
• Past President | Daniel Pilon, Club de Golf St-Zotique, QC
The above executive and the following 11 directors make up
the NGCOA Canada Board for the next two years:

“I am honoured to take on the role of President for
NGCOA Canada and to work alongside such an
exceptional team of industry leaders,” said Richard
Edmonds, President of NGCOA Canada. “As we look to
the future, I am excited about building on the strong
foundation laid by Daniel Pilon and previous boards.
Together, we will continue to support and advocate for
golf course owners and operators across Canada,
driving growth, innovation, and sustainability in our
industry. I look forward to the journey ahead.”

With the NGCOA Canada’s Integrated System (one
organization with integrated chapters), Chapter
Advisory Boards have been formed to help
support regional programs and initiatives. The
President of each Chapter Advisory Board, sits on
the NGCOA Canada Board ensuring continuity
