Canada membership, board
of directors and staff team,
congratulations to Daniel for his
exceptional leadership and very
successful 2-year term as President.
Those accomplishments include
the NGCOA Canada’s highest ever
membership, greatest portfolio of
member benefits, and strongest
financial position. I know I speak
My tenure as President of the
National Golf Course Owners
Association (NGCOA) Canada
concluded at our Annual General
Meeting in November and I reflect
on these past years with immense
pride and gratitude. Serving as your
President has been one of the most
fulfilling experiences of my career.
Together, we have navigated
challenges, celebrated successes,
and continued to grow our industry.
What I will cherish the most
are the incredible friendships and
connections that I have made with
so many talented, dedicated
individuals across Canada who
share a passion for the game of golf
and the business that supports it.
These relationships have not only
enriched my professional journey
but have also touched me
personally. I leave this role with a
stronger network and a deeper
appreciation for the strength of our
community.
None of this would have been
possible without the unwavering
support of my fellow NGCOA
Canada board of directors and the
staff. Their commitment to our
association’s mission and their
tireless efforts behind the scenes

success we have achieved. The
board’s leadership and insight
have guided our direction, while
the staff’s dedication has brought
our initiatives to life. I am deeply
grateful for their partnership and
their belief in the work we do.
As I step down, I am confident
in the future of our association
under Richard Edmonds’
leadership. Richard is a passionate
advocate for our industry, a proven
leader, and someone who
understands the challenges and
opportunities we face. His vision,
coupled with the support of this
