Congratulations to Richard
as he takes over as our newly
elected President. In addition to his
successful golf course ownership
experience, his prior years of
board service as Vice-President,
Secretary-Treasurer, and Central
Ontario Chapter President provide
tremendous industry knowledge,
governance expertise and a deep
network of valuable relationships.
Those attributes will enable his

As is the case with all NGCOA

I am deeply honoured to become
the 14th President of the National
Golf Course Owners Association
Canada. This is a momentous
occasion not just for me, but for all
of us who share a passion for this

I want to extend my deepest
gratitude to Daniel Pilon, for his
exceptional leadership over the
past few years. Daniel, your
dedication and achievements have
set a high standard, and I am
committed to building upon the
foundation you have established.
Your contributions to our
association are truly inspiring.
I must also express my heartfelt
thanks to the NGCOA Canada
Board for entrusting me with this
responsibility. The board
comprises some of the most
talented and dedicated industry
leaders from across the country. It
is a privilege to work alongside
such an outstanding group of
individuals who tirelessly
volunteer their time for the
betterment of our association. You
are truly amazing.
As I reflect on my journey, I
am reminded where it all began.
Nearly 30 years ago, a dear friend
offered me a job as a dishwasher
at a local club. It feels like it was

lead me to this incredible moment
of being elected as your President.
It is a testament to the power of
