Removing the APPSSP2013HTCWatermark.wsp Solution

from SharePoint

To remove the APPSSP2013HTCWatermark.wsp solution from your SharePoint farm, complete the
following steps:

*Note: To remove the APPSSP2013HTCWatermark.wsp solution from your SharePoint farm, you must
first deactivate the General Watermark Settings feature in the Central Administration site of your farm.
Otherwise, the site collections with HTC Watermark feature activated will be inaccessible.

1. Go to the Central Administration interface of your SharePoint farm.

2. Navigate to Settings ( ) button > Site Settings > Manage site features. The Site Features
interface appears.

3. Find the General Watermark Settings feature, and click Deactivate to deactivate it.
4. Go back to the Central Administration interface, click System Settings on the left pane. The
System Settings page appears.
5. Click Manage farm solutions under the Farm Management heading. The Solution Management
page appears.

6. Click the appssp2013htcwatermark.wsp link. The Solution Properties page appears.
7. Click Retract Solution to retract the appssp2013htcwatermark.wsp solution from the farm. The
Retract Solution page appears.

8. Click OK to start retracting the solution and return to the Solution Management page.
*Note: The Internet Information Services (IIS) will restart automatically during the retraction of
the solution.

9. After the status of the appssp2013htcwatermark.wsp solution becomes Not Deployed, click the
appssp2013htcwatermark.wsp link. The Solution Properties page appears.

10. Click Remove Solution and click OK in the confirming window to remove the solution from the
SharePoint farm.

11. After the solution is removed, the appssp2013htcwatermark.wsp solution is no longer displayed
in the Solution Management page.

12. If you have installed the Keynote file convertor for HTC Watermark feature on a machine within
your environment, follow the steps below to uninstall the Keynote file convertor from the
machine:

a. Log into the machine where the Keynote file convertor for HTC Watermark feature is
installed.

b. Access the Terminal window.
