Highlights of VPA West Activities
Ugadi (March 2018, 2019)
VPA West celebrated Ugadi in great grandeur. Obbattu, Shavigae and Natikolisaru
were the highlights of the menu. Members wished each other, followed by
entertainment programs and sumptuous food.
The Barbecue (June 2018, 2019)
Our annual VPA Family Barbecue was at Quarry lakes, Fremont & Lake Chabot
Regional Park, Hayward. The 250 attendeesmade for a lively Sunday. Members
brought marinated chicken and veggies to be grilled on the BBQ. We also had the
most delicious-smelling jack fruit diced and peeled.
