Pangoo’s corpse transformed into parts of his enormous world.
His right eye soared far up into the sky as the sun,
lighting like a torch the dark earth below. His left eye
soared into the sky, too, and lit each night as the moon.
His whiskers transformed into sparkling stars.
Pangoo’s hair grew into the many trees, grasses, and plants on the
earth. His arms and legs formed the rolling hills and steep mountains.
Pan’s blood poured over the earth as rivers, lakes, and seas.
