Welcome and Greetings from Club President Katherine Winans:
As club President, on behalf of Downtown Sacramento Business and Professional
Women, I welcome you to this celebration of the club’s 105th anniversary. 105
years
ago, our club members traveled to St. Louis, MO to join other clubs from across
the country to establish a national federation of Business and Professional
Women’s clubs. We are here today to celebrate this milestone.
The club’s Mission is to promote and support equity for working women in all
phases of their lives and to promote personal empowerment and professional
development.
Our Purpose is to provide opportunities for members to experience personal,
professional, and political growth within a supportive atmosphere.
Our Vision is to be recognized and known as a positive influence in the community.
