the panel with any finish may cause splintering or chipping of the finish. Verification of
outside finished dimension is required prior to manufacturing. The core product will have
an uneven color appearance in each panel and will have uneven color from panel to
panel. Once the panel is clear coated with lacquer or latex the uneven discoloration will
become more apparent. If fire rated core is required, then an additional up-charge will be

Z-Clips
Z-Clips should run the entire width of the panel so as to provide support for the entire
panel. At least three (3) rows of full width Z-Clips should be used for a standard 4’ x 8’
panel. The rows of Z-Clips should be positioned at the top, bottom and center of each
panel to provide even support for the entire surface of the panel.
Direct Screw
If panels are being attached by screwing through the face of the panel into the wall
substrate, the panel should be pre-drilled and countersunk to accommodate the screws.
The screw holes should then be filled with a non-shrinking type of filler. This application
method should only be used on panels that are finished after installation.
Construction adhesive
Follow the construction mastic manufacturer’s application instructions. Cover the back of
the panel generously and allow for cure time. The entire panel must be held in place until
the mastic is completely dry to insure a satisfactory installation.
