                      JACK HOWELL                       Single-A Burlington
                      Former Angels infielder Jack Howell returns for his fifth season with the Halos orga-
                      nization and third as manager of the Bees...During his second season as manager of
                      Burlington, saw Club go 66-74 (.471) and was voted the Minor League Manager of
                      the Year by the Angels...Was the organization’s Field Coordinator in 2016 and 2017
                      after spending the previous four years (2012-15) as Field Coordinator for the Seattle
                      Mariners...In  2011,  held  title  of  minor  league  hitting  coordinator  in  the  Florida
                      Marlins  system...Worked  in  Arizona  Diamondbacks  organization  for  nine  seasons
                      (2002-10)  including  two  seasons  as  the  Major  League  hitting  coach  (2009-10)…
       Served as  Diamondbacks Minor League Field Coordinator from 2005-08 after a season as the Minor League
       Hitting Coordinator in 2004…Was hitting coach at Triple-A Tucson in 2003…Managed Adv.-Rookie Missoula in
       Pioneer League in 2002, leading the Osprey to a 35-41 record...Had an 11-year Major League playing career
       with  Angels  (1985-91,  ‘96-97),  Padres  (1991)  and  Astros  (1998-99)…Hit  .239  (632/2639)  with  108  home
       runs and 337 RBI in 941 career MLB games…Played four seasons in Japan with Yakult (1992-94) and Yomiuri
       (1995) and hit 100 home runs, including a league-leading 38 homers in 1992 for the Swallows…Was named
       the Nippon Professional Baseball Central League MVP in 1992, becoming one of four American-born players
       to win the award…In 1993 helped lead Yakult to Japan Series championship...Originally signed by Angels in
       1983 as a non-drafted free agent out of the University of Arizona where he played one season, following
       two years at Pima Community College (Tucson)...Howell is a member of the University of Arizona Sports Ring
       of Honor...His father Jack Sr., played basketball at the University of Arizona from 1948-52 and helped lead
       the Wildcats to three postseason appearances...His mother, Melba, is in the Pima County (AZ) Sports Hall
       of Fame as a bowler...A native of Tucson, AZ, Howell now resides in Wichita, KS with his wife, Kelly...He has
       four children, Joshua (Lori), Dallas (Kerri), Hunter and Haley and two grandchildren, Keira and Easton...Jack
       and Kelly Howell host a Celebrity Golf Tournament each year raising support for Tucson Alliance for Autism
       (TAFA) in honor of their daughter Haley.

                      Former big league catcher enters his fourth season in the Angels organization, third
                      as a manager and second in Triple-A...In his first year at the helm of Triple-A Salt
                      Lake, the Bees finished with a 60-79 record...Spent 2018 managing Double-A Mobile
                      where they recorded winning records at home (18-15), away (19-16) and against
                      division opponents (22-18)...In 2017, held title of hitting coach for Salt Lake...Under
                      his  tutelage,  saw  several  Bees  hit  over  .300  that  season  including  Carlos  Perez,
                      Shane Robinson, Ramon Flores and Kaleb Cowart...Retired from baseball in 2016 fol-
                      lowing a six-year big league career with the Indians and Phillies...Compiled a career
       .219 (168/768) average with 39 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 60 RBI across 261 Major League
       games...Signed with the Angels as a free agent Feb. 8, 2016 before retiring.
