                        TIM BUSS                     quality assurance coach

                         Known as the "Vice President of Stuff," Tim Buss joins the Angels
                        in 2020 following 18 seasons (2001-19) as the Head Strength and
                        Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Cubs. During his 18-year tenure,
                        he  worked  under  Cubs  managers  Don  Baylor,  Dusty  Baker,  Mike
                        Quade, Dale Sveum, Rick Renteria and most recently Joe Maddon.
                        Prior to getting the Major League strength position with the Cubs,
                        Buss spent the 2000 season working in the Dodgers organization as   front office
                        Strength and Conditioning Coach for Single-A San Bernardino and
        the Dodgers' Instructional League team. Buss began his career in professional baseball in
        the 1998 and 1999 seasons with the Cubs spring and Instructional League camps as well as
        strength and conditioning coach at Triple-A Iowa .
         Buss  is  a  member  of  the  National  Strength  and  Conditioning  Association  and  the
        International  Fitness  Professionals  Association.  He  received  his  associate  degree  from
        Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA and a bachelor's degree in physical education
        from Iowa Wesleyan College.



                        YOICHI TERADA                      MASSAGE THERAPIST
                         Yoichi (yo-EACH-ee) Terada (ter-AH-duh) enters his 10th season with the
                       Halos in 2020.  In his role, Terada works daily with players and staff using
                       touch to manipulate the soft tissues of the body.  In 2016, Terada was
                       selected to work on the A.L. training staff for the All-Star Game at Petco
                       Park in San Diego .
                         With  massage  therapy,  he  relieves  pain,  assists  in  rehabilitation  of
                       injuries, improves circulation and aids in the general wellness of players.
                       Additionally,  he  assists  with  English  translation  during  Japanese  media
        interviews with the Angels.
          Terada  joined  the  Club  in  2011  as  a  Japanese  interpreter/personal  massage  therapist  for
        pitcher Hisanori Takahashi.  In 2013, he was named as the team’s massage therapist.
          Born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan, Terada graduated from Fresno State University with a
        degree in sports medicine.  Yoichi and wife, Maki, have three children and reside in Fountain
        Valley .


                        WILL LENZNER             DIRECTOR, MENTAL CONDITIONING

                         Will Lenzner enters his third campaign as the Angels Mental Conditioning
                       Coach.  Before joining the Halos, he served in the same capacity with the
                       New York Mets for two seasons (2016-17).  A native of Washington, D.C.
                       Lenzner broke into the big leagues in 2015 as the Seattle Mariners Mental
                       Skills Coach in their player development department.
                           In 2014, Lenzner worked as a consultant with the U.S. Army as a Mental
                       Performance Specialist.  Additionally, he was a performance consultant
        for American Top Team Mixed Martial Arts from 2012-14.
          Lenzner  started his professional career as Director of Mental Conditioning for the Evert Tennis
        Academy from 2011-12.  He received his B.A. in Psychology from Pitzer College (Los Angeles, CA)
        and a master’s in Sports Psychology from John F. Kennedy University (Pleasant Hill, CA).
