assignment with Adv.-A Inland Empire, before being reinstated and optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake .
◆ Made 38 Major League appearances across six stints with Angels, setting career highs in games (38), innings
pitched (51.2) and strikeouts (50).
◆ Pitched two perfect innings July 12 vs. Mariners as “Opener” and combined with Félix Peña (7 IP) for the 11th
official no-hitter (second combined no-hitter) in Angels history…Joined Babe Ruth and Roy Oswalt as only
starting pitchers to toss two-or-fewer innings as part of a no-hitter.
