ATTENDANCE
In 2019, the Angels finished with a home attendance of 3,019,012, the second highest mark in the A.L., trailing only
the New York Yankees and fifth best in the Major Leagues. The Angels road attendance was 2,174,808. 2019 marked
the 17th consecutive season over three million fans, 22nd straight season above the two million mark (36th time in
club history) while road attendance figures marked the 27th time over two million fans. The club tallied three sellouts
at Angel Stadium in 2019.
On May 19, 2016 a record-setting 45,007 fans came through the gates to watch the club square off against the
Dodgers, setting the mark for the largest crowd at Angel Stadium of Anaheim during a regular season game.
The Angels established their single-game home attendance figure when 64,406 witnessed Game 1 of the 1982
ALCS against Milwaukee, Oct. 5 at Anaheim Stadium. During the ensuing 1983 campaign, the top two regular season
crowds in club history were set when 63,132 watched the Angels host Kansas City, July 4, and 63,073 viewed the Apr.
23 game against Baltimore .

DUGOUT AND PHOTOGRAPHERS’ AREAS
• Ball striking any forward facing green padded dugout or photographer well railing and rebound-
ing onto playing field: In Play.
• Ball striking or resting on padded flat area at the home plate end of the Angels’ dugout is consid-
ered in the dugout: Out of Play. (Fielder is permitted to lean on or over this area in an attempt to
field the ball.)
OUTFIELD AREA
• Ball hitting yellow square at top of outfield wall on right side of bullpen gate: In Play (However,
ball hitting fence support above yellow square is considered to have gone over fence (i.e. home
run, ground-rule double, etc.)).
• Ball striking right field wall above yellow line: Home Run.
