Dear Tony,
It comes as a bit of a shock to realize for how long we have known each other. I still vividly remember joining the Bank almost 20 years ago; being stunned by its complexity; being guided and supported by a few people – including yourself. I particularly remember our conversations in your OPCS office, where you not only generously shared with me your advice and encouragement, but also “virtually’ introduced me to your beautiful family – with many of their phots adorning your desk, and one of your daughters apparently following career path which was not unsimilar to mine..
I hope you and yours have been and are very well. I hope life has been kind to you, and that all your girls have found their direction and their happiness. I hope you keep going steady, and sustain the same youth of spirit and mind as you had in your World Bank days. Life is a beautiful adventure. A journey. A lesson. A trial of discovery. May you enjoy it for many years to come.
