PSU PRUEBA DE SELECCIÓN UNIVERSITARIA Every year, at the end of Grade 12 pupils sit the PSU exams in order to gain acceptance to their preferred university. The process and situation in 2019 was difficult and challenging. Due to the national contingency, the PSU was postponed twice and did not take place until January. The History exam was also cancelled after a leak of the exam. Many of our 2019 generation took up university places via their IB Diploma exam and a record number of students went to study outside of Chile. The overall results were not as expected, particularly in Mathematics. The Average scores for the three subjects that were able to proceed was as follows: Language and Communication 627,12 points, Maths 651,44 points and Sciences 684,38 points. Although the averages in Maths and Language and Communication were lower than expected, Science results made a notable improvement. Also an encouraging number of our students went on to top universities in Chile and abroad following the course of their choice and or studying at their first choice university. At the same time, we continue to analyse our results and adapt our academic programme to ensure the improvement of our future generations.
