IB Results at Park Lane: an Incredible Success
This year, the graduates of 2022 achieved incredible success in their IB examinations. Despite almost one year of distance
learning back in 2020–21 and some further interruptions to a normal school year in 2021–22, they shone across the board. Having achieved an average result of 37.2 points
as opposed to the world average of 31.98, our students proved themselves to be true IB learners – knowledgeable, principled
and balanced among others. Such results place the Park Lane International School among the most successful IB schools in
the region. All the above is proof that PL's DP programme is flourishing thanks to the efforts of PL's teachers across the age phases and our students' great resourcefulness and resilience.
We also proudly congratulate our 3 students who scored the full 45 points: Lukáš Ch., Sonia F. and Marianna O. Only 0.74%
of the IB students worldwide achieved
such an amazing result this year and this achievement just underlines how extraordinary the year group of 2022 is!
I am pleased to conclude that the IB programme at Park Lane has become well settled and blossoms even further. All this would not be possible without the concerted effort on all sides of the process - dedicated and hardworking staff of the Park Lane International School, supportive parents and of course committed students. We all hope that our graduates of 2022 will pursue their university studies or other paths they've decided on.
Here is the list of some universities
our students are heading to:
University of Oxford, University of Yale, Imperial College London, King's College London, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, University of Durham, Berklee College of Music, University of Edinburgh, University of Bath, Waseda University, Technische Universiteit Delft, FAMU and ČVUT.
We wish them all the best of luck!
