New IB Campus
We are excited to announce that after almost a year of building, reconstructing and refurbishing the new IB site is ready to welcome the Park Lane Diploma stu- dents from September 2022.
The Úvoz site located in an attractive and beautiful location near the Prague Castle represents a new extension to the Park Lane growing community of students and teachers and enables the IB Diploma Pro- gramme to be accomodated in a modern educational environment.
The indoor space is quite unique and
has been adjusted precisely to the Park Lane students' and staff needs. 18 new classrooms include 4 new science labs or a performing arts studio, students will be able to make a great use of a library sit- uated on two interconnected floors with an adjacent study room or a school club with terrace, café, incl. sound system for workshops, assemblies and performances. There is a space for teachers to work in the staffroom and offices for the manage- ment of the school.
The school garden attached to the build- ing is being redesigned in collaboration with our students and will serve the whole PL community as an outdoor learn- ing space or a place to relax.
The new site is ready for the school year of 2022/23 to begin. We are looking forward to welcoming our students, the existing and new members of teaching and admin- istrative staff and we are all positive that this new site and student's achievements will build further on our previous success- es at IB Diploma Programme!
