Abstract

ITDO invited Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) to
give a lecture on “The Future of Unmanned Aviation – Gold
Rush or Reality?” A panel of experts discussed the future of
unmanned aviation: Applications (aerial inspection, search
and rescue, cargo transport, precision farming, etc.), Safe
integration into the existing airspace system, Education and
training of aviation personnel. Also, an AR demonstration
was held to present the use of an Augmented Reality Head-
Mounted Display (AR-HMD) can facilitate piloting manned and
unmanned aircraft.
