Once there was a little bunny, hopping along in the forest. Everything is good. He is
going around the forest, jumping and jumping, feeling very happy.
And you know what rabbits do: They go a little ways, and then they sit up and
twitch their noses to see if they can smell any danger.
So, this bunny was doing the same thing—jumping, jumping, jumping. Sniffing,
sniffing, sniffing. And he senses imminent danger. Before you know it, a huge lion
comes out of the jungle and jumps in front of the bunny, saying to him, “I’m going
to eat you!”
The poor bunny is very scared. Very scared. So the bunny says to himself, “Rabbit,
think. Think. Think! Because you only have a few minutes left of your life. Think,
because that is the only way you can get out of this situation. This may be your last
day if you don’t think! You’re going to get eaten. You’re about to be killed. Think!”
Then the bunny looks at the lion and says, “Stop! You cannot eat me.”
And the lion looks at the rabbit and says, ““You want to bet? What makes you say I
can’t eat you? Of course I’m going to eat you. I’m hungry. I’m looking for breakfast.
You will make a good breakfast. I’m going to eat you.”
The little rabbit says, “No, no, no, no. You’re not going to eat me. I am a very special
rabbit. In fact, I have been sent here by the Lord of the Jungle to reign over all the
animals that live in this jungle. And all the animals know this except for you.”
The lion is puzzled. He says, “Okay, prove it. Prove it.”
