FINAL REFLECTION
THE HISTORY AND LANGUAGE OF ENGLISH CULTURE, has helped me to
develop the effective way use of linguistic elements, psychological processes, and
sociocultural aspects used in the teaching-learning process with an emphasis on
critical thinking. All it was possible by the used of some resources such as book
named How to teaching grammar of Scott Thonrbury, power point presentations,
group works, debates, discussions, role plays, workshops. an some learning
methodologies like, collaborative learning; problem-based learning; project-based
learning; evidence-based learning; case method; presentation method and others.
All these resources helped me a lot to develop an understanding of English-
speaking cultures and its roots as well as how languages develop under different
cultural regimes. So, now I am able to discuss manifestations of American cultural
worldwide, discriminate between diverse cultures in the United States and their
values and beliefs, analyze American English through the lens of cultural
differences and change from a sociolinguistic perspective, illustrate the influence
of Hispanic culture and Spanish on American culture and English and outline the
connections between education in the United States and in our country.
For all these aspects I think that Teaching Children, will always be important
subject to improve the pedagogical skills of teaching English language of people in
a developing country like ours, which every day is growing rapidly and efficiently.
