Comes to Fruition

Less than nine months after kicking
off the process of renovating the
former Van Buren Library building,
the staff of the Chamber moved into
the new Business Resource Center, a
facility that will serve the community
in a variety of ways for many years to
come.
“We are so excited about the Van
Buren Chamber Business Resource
Center and how it will enable us
to provide our members with new
initiatives and services to help their
businesses grow as our community
continues to grow,” said Julie Murray,
President and CEO of The Chamber,
at the Renovation Celebration in
October 2025.
“This facility is a one-stop resource
center that will give us the space
to work more effectively with our
members to help them grow their
businesses,” Murray added.
A long list of area businesses
(see the list on page 61) funded the
renovations of the building that had
served as the Library and a city services
annex over its previous existence.
