Each spring, the Van Buren Chamber Education & Workforce Committee honors graduating seniors who
have earned the prestigious Arkansas Scholars distinction. The Arkansas Scholars program is recog-
nized by institutions and employers throughout the state. To qualify, students must have maintained a
C average, achieved a 95% or better attendance record, and completed the core courses to graduate.
Scholars and their families are invited to the awards ceremony, where honorees are presented their cer-
tificates. The evening also includes a keynote speaker. Your
sponsorship will help fund two annual scholarships awarded
to Van Buren seniors presented by the Van Buren Chamber.

Career Connection will take place after the
ceremony featuring display tables for sponsors to share career
opportunities with the graduating seniors and their parents.
Promotion of this event be sent from the school to the student and the parents.

Career Connection: 5-6 pm and 7 – 8 pm
