Arkansas Colleges of Health Education
Arkansas Colleges of Health Education
(ACHE) is a private, not-for-profit institution,
with a 573-acre campus in Chaffee
Crossing and a 63-acre property housing
the Research Institute and Wellness Center
on Fianna Way in Fort Smith.
The institution’s first college, the
Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine
(ARCOM), conferred Doctor of Osteopathy
(DO) degrees on its third class of medical
students in May 2023. The School of
Physical Therapy will welcome its fourth
class and the School of Occupational
Therapy will welcome its third cohort of
students in the summer of 2024.
A two-year Masters of Public Health
degree program will be added to the
list of available degrees beginning in
August 2024. That program will have

Students at ACHE give back to the
regional community by volunteering at
the Good Samaritan Clinic, Hope Campus,
and other area agencies. In addition,
the institution has created the ACHE Famous For
Day of Service event, where all students Famous For

ACHE recently dedicated their new ColtonsSteakHouse.com
Celebration Garden and Wellness Park
– an eight-acre walking trail located east
of the Village at Heritage on the ACHE
campus. This park includes water features,
a pavilion, a playground, clean bathrooms,
and a half-mile labyrinth – perfect for re-
centering one’s mental health.
With more than 700 students and
over 200 employees, ACHE continues to
change the landscape in the Fort Smith
