Joseph looked for Jesus among their kinsfolk and ac­ quaintances, but He was not to be found. Fearing that something had happened to Him, and lled with sor­ row, they hastened back to Jerusalem.
They wandered about the city and the Temple look­ ing for Him, but in vain. But at last on the third day after His disappearance, when they had about given up hope, they found Him in the Temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors of the law, listening to them and
