the Kingdom of Heaven. Other people are poor be­ cause they have willingly given up all that they own for the love of Jesus; they also shall possess the King­ dom of Heaven. But even those who possess great wealth may be poor in spirit if they use their riches, not merely for their own comfort and enjoyment, but for the glory of God and the good of their fellow man. Theirs also shall be the Kingdom of Heaven.
One day, there came to Jesus a rich young man. He belonged to a noble family and his character was be­ yond reproach. He kept the Commandments and lived an upright life, but he was not satis ed with himself. His heart was on  re with holy ambitions and he wanted to make. better use of his talents and his wealth. He thought that Jesus could advise him what to do.
Coming to the Savior, he asked, ''Good Master, what good shall I do that I may have life everlasting" Jesus answered, ''If thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments.'' The young man said to Him, "Which ones" Jesus answered, "Thou shalt do no murder. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness. Honor thy father and thy mother. And thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." "But," said the young man, "all these have t kept from my youth. What is yet wanting to meF'
Jesus looked at him and loved him. He was so di erent from many others of his age, who were think­ ing only of pl.easure and worldly excess. This boy had in him the making of a great saint.
