The Manual Method, while it takes more steps, has a very different look. This looks is clean, and puts focus on your message, not as much on the person you gave credit to. You can make it simple, or add a larger photo of your own by uploading. Note: Without a screenshot of the original tweet’s photo, it will not show it at all.
Retweet Manual Method:
1) Copy the entire tweet, including the Twitter username of the person who sent it, by clicking and holding to highlight it all.
2) Paste that information into a brand new tweet. Delete the name of the user you're retweeting, add a RT in front of their @username and a colon after their username, and delete any weird spacing.
3) Edit tweet if needed to keep it under the 140 character limit, including changing “and” to “&.”
