What To Do If the Tweet Needs Deleted
Was there a typo? Did you hit “Tweet” too soon before adding the photo manually? Was the Tweet a mistake to make? While you cannot undo the damage caused by making a poor choice in sharing information over social media, you can quickly delete a post usually without anybody even knowing. Here is how.
How to Delete any Tweet:
1) In the upper right hand corner of every Tweet is a grey mark that looks like this: “V”. Click it and a drop-down box will appear with several options.
2) Click “Delete Tweet”
3) Twitter will show the post in a new box and ask if you meant to delete it. If this post is correct, click the RED tab marked “Delete” and it will be gone forever.
Note: Once deleted, a Tweet can never be recovered!
