New Patients Protocols

For patients being referred to Northwest Neurology we make

every effort to review your records. If you have had Diagnostic

Imaging, EEG’s and or EMG’s outside of the UW system we ask

that you bring the information with you including the CD images

for all MRI’s and CT’s. By doing so, we are able to ensure you

have the best possible consult. Please check the status of your re-

ferral by calling our office and speaking with our intake coordina-

tor at 206-668-0111.

We ask new patients to arrive 15 minutes early in order to com-

plete our new patient forms and complete the registration pro-

cess. Please bring a valid Washington state picture identification

and insurance card; this is required at check-in.

Established Patients

If you are a current patient and have an urgent or emergent issue

that requires assistance from our on-call physician, please use our

main number and follow the audio prompts to be connected with

our answering service.

The answering service will page the doctor, who will respond to

you within 30 minutes.

We encourage you to write down your concerns before calling so

you don’t forget to tell us anything, and have your pharmacy

name and number available.

Please be aware we do not refill narcotic prescriptions over the

weekend. We ask that you inform your physician 24 hours prior

to the weekend if you need a narcotic refill.
