Colored Fiber Patch Cords Explanation of Part Numbers
Looking for a duplex fiber assembly in a non-standard color or to differentiate between similar cables of the same
mode without hard to read cable labels? You can do that easily with L-com's colored fiber assemblies. Different SFOD 50- -
colored jackets make it a snap to visually identify a cable. All cables have OFNR (Riser) jackets and utilize PC polish

A and B markers make the connection FODSC50-GR
The "A" and "B" markers on duplex fiber jumpers assist in the proper Transceiver Transceiver
connection between two transceivers. The transmit (Tx) port of one A and B markers explained
transceiver connects to the Receive (Rx) port of the second transceiver Rx Port
as illustrated at right. It is important to determine how the individual Tx Port Online Video
fibers in a duplex assembly are marked (A to A or A to B) to assure L-com.com/Videos/A06
proper connections are made between the Tx and Rx ports of the Tx Port Rx Port
transceivers. L-com's cables are labeled A to B.
Bend Insensitive Fiber Patch Cords with Flex Boot LC or SC Connectors Explanation of Part Numbers
These Flex Boot assemblies are designed to fit in tight spaces and in applications where a non-standard angle of
connection is required. These patch cables are built using Bend-Insensitive fiber and feature OFNR (Riser)jackets SFODBIF -OM3-
along with LC or SC style Flex Boot connectors. These special boots can be bent in any angle up to 90° without
exceeding the bend tolerance of the cable. Bend them into the angle that best fits your application. All connectors Series Mode Length

without negatively affecting the performance of
the fiber? They are great for connector stacking FODBIFLC-OM3
(shown right), tight spaces and right angles. They

has superior bend performance with negligible
signal loss, even with a very small bend radius.
