HOMOSEXUAL
OFFENDER MARRY?
ɳ Question
I have some questions regarding a young man with homosexual ten-
dencies:
1. What is expected of him in regard to marriage? Does he have to
exert effort to marry a woman in order to fulfill the mitzvah of
procreation, for maybe since he is unfit for marriage – this patient
in particular has no desire whatsoever to live with a woman and
the idea disgusts him – perhaps he is exempt?
2. If possible matches are suggested to him must he inform the oth-
er parties of his tendencies?
3. Must a married man who has concealed his situation from his
wife – who is ignorant of the fact that he also lives with men –
reveal this to her?
