ɳ Question
1. A non-Jewish woman quarreled with her husband and now lives
with another non-Jewish man, without having divorced her husband.
She came to a Jewish physician, requesting that he treat her for fertil-
ity. Is he allowed to help her?
2. A pregnant non-Jewish woman asks a Jewish physician to per-
form an abortion for economic reasons or for reasons of comfort. Is
the Jewish physician allowed to do this? Is he allowed to refer her to
a non-Jewish physician?
3. We have a clinic in which I am a partner, as well as three non-Jew-
ish physicians. Am I allowed to refer men who request sterilization
by cutting the spermatic ducts (vasectomy) to my partners? They
themselves refer them to another non-Jewish surgeon.

Regarding the first question, the halachah also needs to be clarified
were such a situation to chas veshalom arise with a Jewish woman. We
