Eurotec, Testo & HACCP

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, or HACCP, is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical
safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product
inspection. HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions can be taken to
reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized. The system is used at all stages of food production and preparation
processes including packaging, distribution, etc.

HACCP systems, health department audits, the clients of food manufacturers and transporters require test instruments to
be calibrated periodically to ensure their accuracy. Testo instruments are backed up in New Zealand by Eurotec’s test and
service facility. In addition to providing service and warranty support, Eurotec also monitors the calibration status of your
instrument. Notification is mailed out through the calibration database to ensure that your instrument is calibrated annually. It
is returned complete with a new calibration certificate.
