ELDER PATRICK POPE SR.
Elder Patrick Pope Sr. was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and is the
youngest of six children born to Pastor J.B. Pope Jr. and Missionary
Patricia Pope. Of these six children resulted five preachers and an
Evangelist Missionary. Because of his parents’ devotion to church, family,
and education, Elder Pope successfully earned a Bachelor’s degree from
Texas A&M University. He, along with his siblings, are all degreed at the
Bachelor level or higher.
He is the husband to Lady Stephanie Pope and the father of 7 children:
Noah, Isaac, Kristina, Julian, Ahron, Patrick "PJ" Jr., and Josephus.
Elder Pope is a veteran of the US Army and has enjoyed success in his
secular career as a Senior Logistics Professional within notable
organizations like Coca-Cola and Amazon to name a few.
Having accepted his call to the gospel, Elder Pope preached his first
message on September 7, 1998. Elder Pope has served at numerous levels
within the diocese of the COGIC. Notably, he has served as Jurisdictional
AIM Secretary, Jurisdictional Mission President, District AIM Chairman,
District YPWW President and Assistant Pastor of the Pentecostal
Tabernacle COGIC-Beloit, WI.
Elder Pope served with his father at the Denver Heights COGIC. After his
father’s transition, he subsequently yielded his support to his eldest brother
and then Pastor, Elder Josephus Pope. He remained faithful there until
professional growth and expanding family relocated him to Atlanta, GA,
under the leadership of Supt. Moses Ray of the Holy Hill COGIC and
subsequent relocation to the Wisconsin area. Upon arriving to the
Wisconsin area, he and his family joined fellowship with Pentecostal
Tabernacle COGIC under the leadership of Dr. Jeremiah Holiday until his
appointment as Pastor to The House of the Lord COGIC.
With a charismatic and humble approach to ministry, Elder Pope is open
and available to the using of the Lord in all things. His application of the
revelation and applicable vision that God has given for his life is rooted on
the 360-degree view of the following principle: Ministry includes the
family, so don’t do it alone.
