TW Constructors is committed to the Minority Business Community
and ensuring that they receive opportunities to bid area projects.

We are very active in the MBE community through events, networking
opportunities, Mid-States MSDC, outreach programs, and relationship
building. Ensuring these firms have opportunities to bid projects is not
only important to our mission, but vital to MBE companies succeeding.

Over the past 17 years, we have built lasting reliable relationships with
several MBE owned companies in the area. This rolodex of experienced
firms allowed us to complete the World Wide Technology Global
Headquarters project with a 64% MBE/WBE participation.

When meeting with MBE firms we take time to learn of their history,
listen to their concerns, and create obtainable goals to help them succeed.
Sometimes on projects, MBE firms are too small to execute an entire
scope. In these situations, we will introduce the firm to a larger firm in
the same field so that they can not only receive a portion of the scope,
they can build their own relationships with the larger firms so that they
may continue to achieve their goals.

We will extend an invitation to bid to the experienced MBE firms we
currently work with. When receiving numbers, if we notice a firm did
not provide a bid price, we will reach out to them to discuss if they
had planned to bid and if not, why. From there, if we are able to assist
them in successfully bidding the project, we will. If we are not, we will
schedule time with them at a later date to mentor them in achieving a
status where they can bid on future projects.

TW Constructors is building more than state-of-the-art facilities, we are
building up communities and those who live and work in them.
