Gate Gourmet, a Swiss enterprise with headquarters in Glattbrugg and branches
on all six continents, is the world’s number two airline catering corporation.

This 100,000-square foot tilt-up concrete facility includes a full service kitchen,

truck maintenance area, office space dry storage, 25-dock doors and a 6-truck ser-
vice bag. The new build was a result of Berkeley City Council approving the rela-

tion of Gate Gourmet to Berkeley and Scudder Road.
