Salem in Ladue United Methodist Church has enjoyed a partnership with TW Constructors and its
affiliate company, Mechanical Solutions, since 2014.

In spring of 2015, TW Constructors (then known as Legacy Building Group) reconfigured the Chancel
area at the front of the Salem Sanctuary. This work involved tearing out existing flooring and wall
panels, converting a multilevel floor to one level, matching new architectural features with existing
ones, laying new marble to match the existing marble, and much more. It was a long and complex
project, and the skilled staff of TWC did a marvelous job of making our space both functional and
beautiful without changing the classic architectural style of the room. Our congregation was very
pleased with the work. In addition, the schedule that was set at the beginning of the project was
followed faithfully with the team at TWC meeting the completion deadline. The work began in
January of 2015, and by April on Palm Sunday, our Sanctuary was ready for worship and to receive our
largest number of guests the following week on Easter Sunday.

Our next big project with a TW company was the replacement of Salem’s original boiler system in the
oldest part of our building. Work on this project also took place in 2015. The work was completed in
a timely manner, and the end result is more effective and efficient heating throughout the midsection
of our facility. This project was so well executed that it won the Outstanding Mechanical Installation
Award from the Mechanical Contractors Association of Easter Missouri in the spring of 2016.

After Mechanical Solutions completed the boiler replacement, the company took over the HVAC
maintenance contract for Salem’s entire facility, and we have been very pleased with their
attentiveness and effective service for all our HVAC needs for nearly 4 years.

Since 2016, TW Constructors has successfully remodeled the lower level restrooms under the Salem
Sanctuary including the installation of a shower. They also have completed a remodel of the north
entrance of the Sanctuary building, and they repaired and updated the entrance on the south side of
the building that leads into our Multipurpose Room and Pre-School area. In addition to the major
work that TWC has done for Salem, they have been available for minor repairs and consultation on
issues that arise in the building as needed.

We are proud to be in partnership with TW Constructors and Mechanical Solutions. They always do
their work with integrity, and it gives us peace of mind to have contractors we can rely on for the
major systems in our building.
