The Chair’s Message

We have a full year of exciting events,
academic programming, research projects, and
innovative teaching and pedagogy.
Keeping with the vision of the Department, I will
continue the legacy of delivering effective
leadership with high standards without regard to
race/ethnicity, sexuality, creed or ability.
However, I will lead with an approach that is
inclusive of everyone.
Ensuring the well-being of this Department and
our students is my primary objective. I will
continue to seek out new resources and
services, invest in new programming, find access
to state of the art equipment to enhance
facilities and classroom instruction. I will also
make sure faculty and students have resources
to flourish and grow academically and
intellectually at CSUN. Don’t just take my word
for it, turn the page to learn more about what
we are doing in the Department. I invite you to
come and experience the difference we are
making at CSUN.
