Floral Vinegar
2 cups (500 ml)
apple cider vinegar
2 tsp (10 ml)
rose petals
2 tsp (10 ml)
linden
2 tsp (10 ml)
chamomile
2 tsp (10 ml)
lavender
2 tsp (10 ml)
hollyhock
2 tsp (10 ml)
marigold
Soak flowers in vinegar for 21 days . Filter with cheesecloth, thoroughly squeezing out plants . Store in an airtight bottle . Use a mixture of 1 tbsp (15 ml) vinegar and 2 cups (500 ml) water to cleanse the skin . Use undiluted as a perfume .
Rose Vinegar
Start by placing 3 .5 oz (100 g) rose petals in a jar and covering with vinegar . Seal jar tightly . Leave in the sun for three weeks, then filter . Repeat the process by pouring the first batch of vinegar over the remaining rose petals, resealing the jar, and again leaving in the sun for three weeks . Filter with cheesecloth, thoroughly squeezing out petals . Store in an airtight glass bottle . Use a mixture of 1 tbsp (15 ml) vinegar and two cups (500 ml) water to cleanse the skin . Use undiluted as a perfume .
