Mix 4 cups (1 L) demineralized water with 1 tbsp (15 ml) white vinegar and 15 to 20 drops lavender or lavandin essential oil .
Store in a 1 cup (250 ml) spray bottle and shake well before each use .
Spray on clothes immediately before ironing .
• 1⁄4 cup (60 ml) to 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) of white vinegar
Add vinegar to rinse cycle and, if possible, hang items to dry instead of using the dryer .
Add 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) vinegar to a basin of water .
Soak garment in a vinegar and water solution to keep colors bright and prevent them from running and dyeing other articles .

Before washing, soak underarms of shirt or sweater in white vinegar, let sit, and then wash as usual .
