Cider vinegar has been used since ancient times as a disinfectant, toner, and perfume, and its benefits are still highly valued today.
  Skin Care
Cider vinegar, a natural astringent, has a pH level very close to the skin’s. It is nutrient-rich, and keeps skin soft and healthy. Its antioxidants help slow the skin’s natural aging process and minimize the appearance of pores. Cider vinegar removes soap and any calcium and chlorine residue left over from tap water, which may cause tightness and discomfort.

 1⁄2 tbsp (7.5 ml)
 1⁄2 tbsp (7.5 ml)
   cider vinegar
   1 tbsp (15 ml)
  distilled water

Apply to face in a gentle circular motion. Rinse with warm water, followed by cold water. Oatmeal softens and nourishes the skin, and honey acts as an antibacterial cleanser. Vinegar restores the skin’s natural balance.
