 Preparation
• Combine all ingredients in a glass bowl, mixing well. Keep in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
Variation
• Instead of canned tomato paste, boil
4 tomatoes for 30 seconds (score each with an “X” beforehand), and then peel.
• Blend in food processor to create a homemade puree.
Ingredients
• 1 can 5 oz (148 ml) tomato paste • 4 tbsp (60 ml) brown sugar
• 4 tbsp (60 ml) water
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) apple cider vinegar • 1⁄4 tsp (1.25 ml) dry mustard
• 1⁄4 tsp (1.25 ml) ground cinnamon • 1 pinch ground cloves
