The Rhone Valley
The Rhone is a very special place indeed, not only for its wine but also for its gastronomy, famous for its truffles, chocolate and of course sausage! What’s not to like? The region plays hosts to an array of famous vineyards but one of the most famous of them all must be Chateauneuf-du-Pape (CNDP). This well-known region is often a go to if you don’t know what to buy for your friend’s birthday and don’t worry this is not a bad choice. What we love about the CNDP is the fact that there are a whopping 18 different grape varietals planted in the area which consists of a little over 300 vineyards, giving the wines such a different personality to many others. `
