Despite being in South Africa over the recent World cup final we still love them and their country. If you have not yet visited this incredible country, it needs to be added to the list! South African wines like many of the other “New Worlds” has come on leaps and bounds and they now produce some of the world’s finest wines. South Africa has suffered greatly over the last few years, particularly with unemployment. The wine industry has also been very badly hit with Covid and the domestic bans on alcohol. So, if you want to help support the wine industry in these difficult times then these are the wines to look at that will make the greatest difference.
