Chapter 9 A Perfect Summer

AUGUST 1st through AUGUST 28th

Since I hadn’t had a family of my own and that was the life path I choose,
what I did want, was to share holidays all that I loved with friends and family.

Going to Tahoe was a trip I’d done every year since I’d been born. This year,
I wanted them all up to the cabin to make this summer extra special. My
mom, my niece Josie and my nephew Charlie Max were the first to come. We
had so much fun riding in the kayaks, making art projects, playing cabin
games and just being together. Josie would be going to high school in
Chicago soon, so having her there before she went was super important to
me. I also wanted to spend some quality time with Charlier Max, which we
did.
