After he ate, he wandered over to the cart shack. He had hung out here
many times with the older boys who worked there.
The room was quiet today. “I guess everyone’s busy,” Jimmy thought with
disappointment.
He turned around to head back to the snack shop, but stopped when he
heard a voice call his name.
As he squinted into the dim light of the back corner, he felt goosebumps
on his arms, for no apparent reason.
“Ok guys, who’s back there?’’ he called out.
Nothing but silence.
