“So, I liked those dinosaurs that rampaged around the 1st hole.
What kind were they?” Jacob teased.
Jimmy grimaced, “You could see that?”
Jacob smiled, “I can see and hear most of the things people think around
here, but your brain has surpassed them all!
Where does that stuff come from?”
Jimmy found himself telling the boy all about how he had never really
been good at anything before, how scared he was when he hit the ball,
and how much he wanted to get closer to his dad by having golf in common.
He was surprised how easy it was to open up to this ghost.......boy.......
whatever he was.
The transparent figure leaned on the steering wheel thoughtfully,
just listening.
