2021 Managers Meeting
The 2021 Managers Meeting was held recently to say goodbye to 2021and prepare for 2022! The theme of the
meeting was Excellence is what Drives Us, the DDS' slogan for this year. Approximately 173 DDS managers gath-
ered at the Marriott in Macon for a day of reflecting, learning, team building and comradery.
The Commissioner welcomed everyone and introduced an attention grab-
bing intro video where he spoke aboout the excellence and resilence of
Team DDS. Being able to modernize DDS' front end system and back end
issuance system during the Pandemic is testimony to that!
One common theme throughout the entire day was that Team DDS is a
family, and we were all very glad to be back together. There were safety
protocols in place including yellow, red and green namebadge stickers that
signaled the wearers comfort level for interaction. It was the first time that a
large DDS gathering had been help since 2019!
The Program contained two presenters: Ian Grossman from the American
Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), and Your Traffic Lady
Stephanie Stallworth. They offered customer service and Team Building tips.
There were also several team building activities including a very lively round
of Family Feud!
