St. Stephen
St. Stephen’s also continued to grow. Father Stephen McPadden led the parish for 20 years and was succeeded by his brother, Father William McPadden, who served for 29 years.
St. Stephen and St. Francis de Sales began working together as clustered parishes in the late 1990s. By that time cooperation was nothing new for the parishes, as their schools had merged in the early 1980s to form St. Francis-St. Stephen School, located on the grounds of St. Stephen’s.
