The following year, Father Michael Purcell of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Rochester purchased a home and lot in Churchville, converting the structure into St. Vincent DePaul Church. But
re destroyed the church a year later, and a new building was constructed on North Main Street in 1885, under the administration of Father Dennis J. Curran.
