With 340 acres of land and more than 250,000 burials, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery remains the largest and most active of Rochester’s cemeteries, and is one of the largest in New York state.
Holy Sepulchre and Ascension Garden received a Green Burial Certi cation in 2013 from the national Green Burial Council, becoming the rst Catholic cemeteries in New York state to earn such recognition.
