❖ He catches birds in the air ( clever)
❖ The good bird sings even since in the egg ( abilities in young age)
❖ Bad eggs don’t make chicks ( don’t expect a bad person to do good things)
❖ Better a humble bird in the tree than a skylark in the cage ( freedom)
❖ He kills two birds in with one stone (one action-attempt, double benefit)
❖ He’s as smart as a rooster ( not clever, bird-brained)
